Hockey Tournament in Scotland 27th - 30th October 2018

On the 27th October, 16 of our senior hockey players and coaches travelled to Glasgow to take part in the Schools Nations Tournament Scotland. 

Some of the games took place in The Glasgow National Hockey Centre in Glasgow Green which was the venue for the Commonwealth Games. 

A total of 12 teams played in the tournament, three Scottish, three English, four Northern Irish and three from the South which included

• Loreto Kilkenny
• Rathdown
• Teresians 

We played five games in total and we were unbeaten in every game!  We drew four and won one game

We were delighted to finish 5th out of 12  in a really competitive tournament

A highlight was when we taught some of the opposition our team dance and also Coach Simon Lowry singing Taylor Swift at the top of his voice on the bus home!
