ECCE Scheme

Rathdown Pre-School is registered for the Government’s Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) Scheme, which provides two free pre-school years for children before they enter primary school. The scheme is open to every child in Ireland with a PPSN.

A child may commence Pre-School in the September of the calendar year in which they turn 3.  To be eligible for the second year of Pre-School, they must commence year 2 in the September of the calendar year in which they turn 4.  Rathdown Pre-School accepts children based on this age criteria also. ARRANGE TO VISIT US
