LEAVING CERTIFICATE 2011
Rathdown School is very proud of the achievements of the class of 2011 in their recent Leaving Certificate results. The overall standard was excellent and the majority of girls exceeded their expectations.
- 27% achieving over 500 points
- 44% achieving over 450 points
- 64% achieving over 400 points
- Average points score of 429 (National Average in 2011 – 305 points)
Ms. Anne Dowling, Principal congratulated the girls and commended their hard work and effort in achieving such excellent results. She also praised the efforts and level of support given by the dedicated teaching staff in Rathdown School.
Whilst it is very gratifying to see the exceptional level of A’s and B’s achieved in higher level papers, it is equally gratifying to see students maximise their potential through hard work, dedication and belief in themselves.
A particular congratulations must to go Alison Kelly who achieved the maximum 600 points – an outstanding achievement!
