Junior School Helps the People of Haiti There was great excitement in the
Junior School on Wednesday morning as all the girls (and many teachers!)
arrived to school in their pyjamas! What a great assortment of colourful pjs,
dressing gowns and slippers were to be seen throughout the school! The girls
also took part in a Book Swap in each class and were given some quiet reading
time to enjoy their new books.
Of course, the most important
aspect of this day was to help the people of Haiti recover from the recent
horrific earthquake. All week in assembly, the girls in P1 have given us lots
of interesting facts on Haiti. They also led our whole-school assembly on
Friday morning. The Junior School raised a massive €3,200! Thank you so much for your support. We have a contact on
the ground in Haiti so the money will go directly to the people that really
need it.
