Best wishes to our Mind Lab Olympic team from the Junior School! They are heading to Sinaia, Romania today to compete in the Mind Lab Olympic games. This is an international event, with 11 countries taking part in the competition. Their week will be filled with a variety of interesting activities and events and we wish them the best of luck during the games themselves. Rathdown Junior School is the first school in Ireland to have the Mind Lab programme as part of its school curriculum. Amber Hollis, Sarah Quinn, Amy Shaw and Sadhbh Breslin make up the Irish team and they are accompanied by Natasha Pearson, Gerry Mc Carthy and Barbara Shaw. Good luck, girls, we are very proud of you!



A bit about the Mind Lab Olympics:

The Mind Lab Olympics is an educational event that brings together children from all over the world in a fantastic championship of thinking games, which is both tremendously exciting and enjoyable. The Olympic event begins with the Mind Lab learning groups in schools and extracurricular activities, continues through regional and national playoffs, and finally culminates in the international championships. This year will be the seventh year Mind Lab Group will organize this grand event! The event will take place in the beautiful city of Sinaia, Romania.
