Over the next few weeks, P2 to P6 will visit an enchanting exhibition that allows visitors to experience ‘first hand’ the moment archaeologist Howard Carter entered the treasure-laden burial chambers of Egypt’s most famous Pharaoh, Tutankhamun.

Colourful Chemistry!

Rathdown School Music Recital


Parents and visitors were treated to a wonderful evening in the Music School auditorium on Tuesday evening! Girls from both the Junior and Senior Schools performed: JS and SS choirs and orchestras, instruments included violin, cello, piano, flute, saxophone and clarinet, and solo singers. Handwriting Competition Winners!

Congratulations to Edel Kanini (P4) and Sophie Jane Gibbons (P2) who were winners in the INTO/EBS Handwriting competition. Edel won 1st Place in the P3/P4 category and Sophie came 3rd in the P1/P2 category. This was a nationwide competition and the standard was very high. JS Artists Display their Talents


On Thursday evening, all the JS parents enjoyed the opportunity to see the lovely artwork in the school. Each girl created one special piece that was then framed and displayed in the JS Hall.
